Re-baptized 再洗

I learned to obey God fully, literally. I was shocked to know that I needed to have a baptism by water "immersion" after I had a confirmation from God to be a member of this church. I worried as if my past would have been denied or not counted. The Bible says all the baptism in the New Testament was done immersion way because of the symbolism involved. Through prayers and supports of my friends in Christ and pastor in the us, I took this step by faith as an obedient act for the Lord Jesus Christ. I obeyed what the Bible says, not obeying my own understanding or way of thinking. I believe this is God's way.

主に完全に従うことを学ばされました。家の近くの教会で、海外経験がいかせて、BSF仲間がたくさんいて、子どもミニストリーが盛んで、教会の体の一部となってキリストに仕えたいという思いが与えられ、メンバーシップに導かれた後、バプテストでは滴礼ではなく浸水式が正式なんだということが発覚し、一度はドン引き。まるで今までのクリスチャン生活が否定されるような気がして悩みました。新約聖書では洗礼は浸水式で行われたと書いてあり、バプティゾー「浸す」という意味があります。クリスチャンの友達と前のアメリカの教会の牧師に祈ってもらい、自分の考えや価値観じゃなくて、信仰によって聖書のことばに従うことにしました。これが神様の方法だと信じています。
